ME App

Room for mental support during the job search in app form

Finding a permanent job can be challenging – especially when mental health is an obstacle. The ME app supported job seekers with psycho-social challenges in the job search process. As part of the project, an app was being developed that builds up and motivates job seekers through personalized interactions. In this way, we supported people in finding the energy and courage to re-enter the workforce – so that everyone has a job.

Project Outputs

The guide shows how the ME-App can be successfully integrated into training and teaching. It provides practical guidance, didactic ideas, and background information to support unemployed adults with topics such as routines, sleep, self-esteem, stress, and emotional well-being. It also includes recommendations for the safe and privacy-compliant use of digital applications in education.

The country report analyses the living conditions and psychosocial challenges faced by unemployed people in Austria. Based on literature research, focus groups, and surveys, it identifies key needs, existing support services, and the potential of digital applications, providing important insights for the development of the ME-App.
